Cristiano Ronaldo sets a condition to stay at Al-Nassr
Press reports revealed 3 options that Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of Saudi Al-Nasr, is considering regarding his career that is nearing its end.
Ronaldo (39 years old) entered the free period in his contract with Al-Nasr, which will end next June, as he joined the ranks of “Al-Alamy” in January 2023, after terminating his contract with Manchester United.
According to what was stated by Italian journalist Rudy Galetti via the British website “teamtalk”, Ronaldo is considering 3 options to write the best ending in his football career, after he announced his desire to achieve more titles and achievements.
The transfer expert explained that the first option that Ronaldo is thinking about is to extend his contract with Al-Nasr, but this will depend on bringing strong deals in the first place in order to help him achieve his goals, in light of his advancing age and declining physical stock.
This will be achieved if Al-Nasr is able to contract with a new executive director to help “Don” achieve his dreams, according to what the Italian journalist added.
The second option is for Ronaldo to return to his homeland, Portugal, or retire from football permanently, after the end of his contract with Al-Nasr.
Regarding the last option, the main idea of the Madeira Rocket is to retire after leading Portugal in the 2026 World Cup, as he aspires to achieve the title after 5 previous participations.
However, Galetti confirmed that “Al-Nasr’s coronation of the AFC Champions League title for the elite for the first time in history may push Ronaldo to retire.”
In a related context, Al-Nasr is preparing to face Al-Akhdoud, next Thursday evening, in the 14th round of the Roshen League.
